The override protects the people and programs that make Blue Ridge excellent: great teachers, smaller class sizes, full-day kindergarten, honors and AP classes, and student activities.

Voting YES does raise local taxes, but you’ll know where every dollar goes. It is a direct investment in safe schools, strong academics, retaining great teachers, the future of our community, and it will lead to higher property values for you.

WHAT DOES A YES VOTE MEAN FOR BLUE RIDGE?

Eliminate $100k+ in maintenance costs by fixing aging air conditioning and heating systems and repairing dangerously outdated electrical infrastructure
Many main campus HVAC units were installed in 1998 and are now 28 years old with failing breakers and aging panels constantly putting the whole system at risk.

Modernize classrooms, restrooms, and school facilities
Aging plumbing, restrooms, locker rooms, lighting, classroom spaces, and common areas are all hurting students’ learning environment.
